How to make all rounds (excepts breaks) look the same
« on: January 29, 2019, 05:51:18 PM »
I'm sure it's easy, and it is almost there, but there is a minor alignment issue between even and odd rounds.  Help!

Good question.  The original layout was designed to inform the players that the deck of cards should be changed between rounds.  The color change is accomplished through "Property Sets" of each cell that makes up the layout.  There's a "Default" set that has the blue colors.  Then there's another set "Even Rounds" which is only selected when the round number is (you guessed it) an even number.  To keep the layout on the "Default" property set, you have to delete the "Even Rounds" property set, from all of the visible cells.  It's a bit of a hassle to be sure, but a one time fix.

There is a built-in layout called "Default - fixed", which has the Even Rounds property sets removed.  But it's a bit of a legacy and is designed for 1024 x 768 size screens.  If you enable Layout Scaling (Layout tab -> Preferences button), it will scale to your likely much higher resolution screen.  It won't look as good as a layout designed specifically for say 1920x1080, but the scaling should get you most of the way there.  Or you can bite the bullet and remove the "Event Rounds" property sets from the layout you're already using.
