Unable to change table graphic file and always losing preferences to names

Hello,

Every single time I load the program, I have to go to preferences to change nicknames to First name, Last Initial. This is getting quite bothersome.

Any help appreciated!

That's pretty unusual.  I don't see this happening in version 3.7.2.  Any other preferences not "sticking"?

I could see this happening if your preferences file was made "read-only".  But since all preferences are stored in the same file, every other preference would have the same issue.
